OUR CLUBS …
We organise great fun and educational events for the children throughout the year at our Breakfast Club, After School Club and Holiday Club
Always a friendly atmosphere
My two sons have attended Happy Days for almost 12 years. They both attended before school age and then during most holiday and afterschool clubs. Always a friendly atmosphere, the children are happy and safe. The staff are great and always do their utmost to attend to our needs. Happy Days Childcare comes highly recommended.
We open at 7.30am each morning and can provide breakfast for all age groups until 8.30am.
Breakfast consists of a selection of cereals and toast, along with milk or water to drink (take a look at our menus).
After breakfast there are activities available for all age groups until the first session time begins at 9am.
Transport to Hundon or Thurlow Primary school leaves at 8.30am and at 8.50am to Wickhambrook Primary School.
After School Club
School children are picked up and taken back to Happy Days either by minibus or by car. They are offered a small snack and drink on arrival and then provided with a choice of activities to help them relax after a day at school, including the freedom to play in the garden.
Tea is available between 4.30pm – 5pm, this is a light meal, fruit and pudding. Our termly menus are available on the website.
After tea the children are able to play with their friends, get on with homework or chill out with a story until their parents arrive.
We are open and available for all school holidays, half terms and PD days (except the week between Christmas and New Year) for all children up to age 11.
We offer hourly rates for occasional or emergency use.
Activities are often themed for the season – ie Easter, Halloween, Christmas – with a variety of art and crafts, dressing up, face painting, cooking, games and quizzes, and walks in the local woodland a short distance from Happy Days.
Where possible we arrange mornings or afternoons out to places such as Clare county park and East town park in Haverhill, both of which are a short minibus trip away.
Fresh, home cooked lunches are on offer throughout the holidays.
Eat with us
All our food is freshly prepared at Happy Days Childcare and our menu changes on a monthly basis. We cover all the food groups but also take into account what your child will enjoy eating.
